ORGANIC BABY ORANGE: WHY IS THE ORANGE IMPORTANT IN CHILDREN’S DIET?
Oranges in children’s nutrition are very important because they help to provide them with essential nutrients for healthy and balanced growth. In particular, vitamin C is necessary for the development of connective tissue, wound healing and to strengthen their immune system. In general, pediatricians recommend giving fruit to children even before they are one year old.
Oranges also contain vitamin A (important for the growth and development of their visual system), moderate amounts of vitamin B (regulator of the nervous system), minerals such as calcium and iron and dietary fiber.
HOW TO GET CHILDREN TO EAT ORGANIC ORANGE?
When we were children, mother Nella made us enjoy oranges in many ways, we propose some of them below in order to give you some hints or ideas to add them to your children’s diet:
- prepare them a good organic orange juice,
- offer them organic orange wedges as a snack or accompaniment to other meals;
- Include oranges in fruit smoothies;
- prepare tarts by spreading organic orange marmalade;
- prepare donuts or plumcakes by adding orange juice to the dough.
It’s important that parents also set an example by eating oranges and showing them that oranges are good!
The organic baby orange can be used not only in feeding children, but also in cuisine as:
- orange salad dressing;
- orange flavoring for desserts;
- use of organic orange juice and peel in a good and healthy homemade donut;
- orange, onion and fennel salad
- orange juice, honey and lemon, which is an excellent herbal tea to regain strength and fight a cold.
