It has a yellow and thick peel and it contains a very juicy pulp, refreshing and with a yellow color. The acidulous taste, typical of these fruits is given by limonene, which seems to have anti-cancer properties. The most important components of grapefruit juice are flavonoids, the most abundant present in grapefruit is naringenin, which has antioxidant and anticancer properties.
