RED PUMPKIN: GRANDMOTHER’S QUICK RECIPE
- Remove the peel and seeds from the pumpkin, rinse and cut into pieces
- In a pan, make a small sauté with: extra virgin olive oil; garlic to taste; add chopped sausage if you prefer
- After the sauté (remove the garlic if you don’t prefer) add the pumpkin and mix everything
- Mix and cook over low heat with the lid on
- Add salt to taste
- Cooking time approx. 20-30 min
