Imagine being in Sicily and peeling an orange, a lemon or savoring a dessert in one of the many Sicilian pastry shops.
To make this basket even more typical and live a unique sensory experience, upon opening the box you will smell that scent of citrus fruits, sweets and Sicilian land, home scents that can travel and bring us back here even if only for a deep and unforgettable moment.
The Christmas basket typical products directly to your home. We thought about creating a Sicilian basket box, an excellent idea if you don’t know what to bring as a gift from Sicily or wherever you are.
The gift box is composed only and exclusively of typical Sicilian products.
Here’s what you’ll find in the Sicilian Christmas box baskets (or food gift basket):
- Seasonal organic Sicilian citrus fruits (mix approx. 10 kg): the citrus fruits are harvested fresh and shipped “from the producer to the consumer”. Specifically, the organic citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and more from the Azienda Scollo are certified organic.
- Panettone (with sourdough) with pistachio and/or classic (you choose what): it is prepared only to order by a typical Sicilian artisan pastry shop that uses sourdough for the dough.
- Sicilian local lentils (500gr pack);
0.75lt bottle of extra virgin olive oil: the extra virgin olive oil comes from the milling of our organic olives, with cold pressing. - Sicilian almonds (500gr): almonds are shelled, produced in Avola, famous for the production of Sicilian almonds
- Typical Sicilian sweet mix (about 500gr): candied peel, nougat, almond paste, pistachio and/or almond brittle. These too are prepared only to order by an artisan workshop. Must try, they are delicious!
- Christmas greeting card with personalized dedication (indicate what to write in the message).
