Slow food certified, the so-called Bronte’s green gold, is the protagonist of recipes ranging from Sicilian pesto or more specifically alla brontese for pasta, to sweets and cured meats; at the end of summer, the town dedicates to it a festival of historic setting, combining tradition, taste, reminiscence, history, gastronomic culture. Bronte pistachio is recognizable for its size, color, emerald green, and taste.
