Description

Origins and Cultivation:
The Red Globe table grape was discovered by the University of California in the 1950s and later introduced in Italy in the 1980s. It is currently the second most widespread table grape variety in Sicily, where we have grown it with passion for generations and harvested it directly from our vineyard for our customers. The Red Globe stands out for its spherical-shaped grapes with a fascinating ruby-red colour, from which its name derives, which in Italian means “Red Globe”. Its high and consistent production makes it a reliable choice for grape lovers.

Characteristics, Appearance and Taste:
The Red Globe grape is a rosé variety widely appreciated for its irresistible combination of appearance and flavor. The bunch has a conical-pyramidal shape, giving the Red Globe grape an attractive aesthetic. The fruits have notable resistance both on the plant and during the transportation, storage and marketing phases, making it particularly ideal for online purchasing.
